Dawn's story

Thank you, Dawn, for sharing your story with us.

Dawn has taken part in Girls Night Out over the last four years and this year she took her fundraising support a step further by jumping 10,000ft out of a plane at our special Tandem Skydive Day on 21 July.

She says: "It's all done in memory of my dad - he was cared for and passed away at St Nicholas Hospice. I am excited and a tad anxious about doing it, but know it's for such a worthy cause. The Hospice is a wonderful place, filled with calm and care. My dad will be looking down, with a raised eyebrow and hopefully a proud smile."
